The library without walls. A global road trip in search of bestpractice in libraries and the challenges of the 21st century.
Presented by Netherlands librarians Erik Boekesteijn and Jaap van de Geer.
Besides lessons learnt from the libraries they visited in America and Jamaica they will also share stories of their own library concept center DOK in Delft and talk about Tank U, a device that uses blue tooth as a way of sharing stories on mobile phones, and Agora the project in which people hold exhibitions of their life stories in the library and much more.
