Following the success of the inaugural Great Library Quiz in 2013, the event is set to become a regular fixture in the Perth library community calendar.
Missed last year’s event or seeking to better your team’s results? The 2014 Great Library Quiz is your chance to put your brain to the test.
All funds raised to be split between the Kay Poustie Scholarship and the Sharr Award Fund. It will be a great opportunity to catch up with friends in the profession, make new ones and support some great causes. Better yet, there will be prizes to be won.
The Great Library Quiz is the end of year event for ALIAWest and is also supported by the State Library Foundation. Our Quizmasters are coming up with a devilish range of questions. Get a table together, bring some food and beer/wine/soft drinks and put your thinking caps on.
Friendly rivalry between organisations is encouraged and may the best and brightest team win! Buy tickets here
Where: Great Southern Room, State Library of WA
When: Thursday December 4, 6pm for a 6.30 start (ends approx 9.30)
Why: For fun and to raise money for great library related causes
Who: Library people. 8 people per table, so bring your friends/coworkers
How much: $10** per head collected at the door ($5 goes to Kay Poustie Scholarship fund, $5 to Sharr Award Fund)
** As we will not be accepting online payments Eventbrite states tickets as free. However, the charge is $10 per person which we will be collecting on the night.
