It’s time to register for the School Library Conference WA. We have a really exciting program lined up including:

·       authors Tristan Bancks, Nadia Wheatley and Sean Avery;
·       technology in education experts Tom March and Hamish Curry from NoTosh;
·       awards for the TL, Library Tech and Library Officer of the Year will be presented by the Minister for Education the Hon. Peter Collier (so get your nominations in);
·       a 25 year service award for school library personnel (do you or someone you know qualify?);
·       a presentation for the Great School Libraries campaign;
·       the Breakfast Nibbles and Natter with Nadia Wheatley, Bus, Book and Browse tours and a Cocktails and Conversation on the Friday.
·       some great concurrent sessions (full program here) which include strands such as advocacy, technology, practical library, outreach, literacy and literature;
·       a great trade display; including book signings; and
·       a plethora of prizes to be won.

Register now - first in, first served!
·       Breakfast with the author is at Karrinyup Golf Club and numbers are limited to 50.
·       Concurrent sessions will also be capped so earlybirds will get their choice of sessions.
·       Each bus tour can take 48 people so you will need to book the tour that appeals to you (they are different).

Conference fees have been capped and are the same as the 2014 conference. WASLA members can also apply for a scholarship to attend the conference.

The SLCWA Committee looks forward to seeing you there.

Conveners: Ms Sandra Naude (AISWA) and Dr Barbara Combes (WASLA)
