The Planning Committee and ALIA are excited to announce that Professor The Honourable Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO will be giving the Opening Address at NLS7 on Saturday 25 July!
Dame Marie Bashir is the second longest serving Governor of New South Wales and was the recipient of the Medal of the Library Council of NSW. This medal recognises Dame Marie Bashir’s contribution to the cultural enrichment of Australia through library and information excellence.
All of us at NLS7 and ALIA look forward to hearing Dame Marie Bashir’s inspirational insights into libraries as a vital service and a treasury of ideas and resources.
